وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ - مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَخَا حَمْزَةَ ، آخَى بَيْنَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah, the freed slave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), was made the brother of Sayyiduna Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him); the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) established brotherhood between the two of them.
