وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : آخَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ ، آخَى بَيْنَ سَلْمَانَ وَأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، وَبَيْنَ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَبَيْنَ صَعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) established brotherhood among his Companions. He made Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) brothers of one another, and likewise Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jaththamah (may Allah be pleased with him).
