Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13520

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever becomes the guardian of an orphan, whether he (the orphan) is his relative or not his relative, he and I will be in Paradise like these two (fingers)." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said this while joining two fingers.
Imam Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Layth bin Abi Sulaym, and he is a mudallis.
