وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " تُوضَعُ الرَّحِمُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَهَا حُجْنَةٌ كَحُجْنَةِ الْمِغْزَلِ تَكَلَّمُ بِلِسَانٍ طَلْقٍ ذَلْقٍ ، فَتَصِلُ مَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَتَقْطَعُ مَنْ قَطَعَهَا " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، غَيْرَ أَبِي ثُمَامَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "On the Day of Resurrection the womb (that is, kinship) will be set up with a hooked form like the hook of a spindle, and it will speak with a sharp, eloquent tongue. It will join whoever kept it joined and cut off whoever cut it off."
