عَنْ كُلَيْبٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ - وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْأَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْأُخْوَةِ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْأَبِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَاقِدِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Kulayb al-Juhani, who had the honour of being a Companion, says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The eldest of the brothers is in the position of a father."
