Amr bin Muhammad bin Amr bin Sa'd bin Mu'adh narrates: I heard Hind bint Sa'id bin Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrating this report from her paternal aunt. She said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to visit Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) in his illness, and we presented him with the foreleg of a goat, which he ate. When the time of prayer came, he rinsed his mouth and prayed without performing ablution again.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this report in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir through various chains; the narrators of some of them are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Hind bint Sa'id, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy).
