وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " بِرُّوا آبَاءَكُمْ تَبَرُّكُمْ أَبْنَاؤُكُمْ ، وَعِفُّوا تَعِفَّ نِسَاؤُكُمْ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ شَيْخِ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ أَحْمَدَ غَيْرَ مَنْسُوبٍ ، وَالظَّاهِرُ أَنَّهُ مِنَ الْمُكْثِرِينَ مِنْ شُيُوخِهِ فَلِذَلِكَ لَمَّ يَنْسُبْهُ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Treat your parents well, and your children will treat you well; remain chaste, and your women will remain chaste."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except al-Tabarani's teacher Ahmad, whose lineage is not stated. It appears that he is one of those from whom al-Tabarani narrated abundantly, and perhaps for that reason he did not state his lineage. And Allah knows best.
