Majma al-Zawaid 13378 — The wonders of creation

Muslim al-Hajari narrates: I said to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him): O Abu Muhammad! From what was creation created? He said: From water, wind, light and darkness. Then I came to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and asked him about this, and he said about it the same thing that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) had said.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and I do not know the narrator Muslim al-Hajari. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
