Majma al-Zawaid 13361 — The wonders of creation

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) observed the sun at the time of its setting and said: "(It is in) the blazing Fire of Allah (made by Him). Had it not been restrained by the command of Allah, it would have destroyed everything on the face of the earth."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator whose name has not been stated, and the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
