Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13355

Mutarrif narrates: I accompanied Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) from Kufah to Basrah, and not a day passed over me but that he recited some poetry to us on it. He used to say to us about this: In indirect speech (speaking by allusion and hint) there is room for you to avoid lying.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
