وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُبْشِيٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ قَطَعَ سِدْرَةً مِنْ سِدْرِ الْحَرَمِ ، صَوَّبَ اللَّهُ رَأْسَهُ فِي النَّارِ " . قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ غَيْرَ قَوْلِهِ : " مِنْ سِدْرِ الْحَرَمِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ . وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَتْ بَقِيَّةُ أَحَادِيثِ هَذَا الْبَابِ فِي الْبَيْعِ بَعْدَ بَابِ اتِّخَاذِ الشَّجَرِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Hubshi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever cuts down one of the lote trees of the Haram, Allah Almighty will cast him headlong into Hellfire." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
Abu Dawud recorded it, but he did not record these words: "of the lote trees of the Haram."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). Some hadith of this kind have already passed in the chapter on buying and selling, in the chapter about planting trees.
