Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13266

Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "None of you should ever say: 'My soul has become wicked (khabuthat)'; rather, let him say: 'It has become sluggish (laqisat).'"
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Laqs means ghathayan (that is, being uneasy); this was stated by the author of the book al-Nihayah.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
