Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13262

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who plays nard (chess or backgammon) is like one who puts his hands into the flesh of swine, and the one who looks at it (chess or backgammon) is like one who puts his hand into the blood of swine."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Thabit bin Zuhayr, and he is da'if (weak).
