Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13258

Muhammad bin Sirin narrates: We were with Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) on the roof of our house. He saw a star falling, and the people began to look at it. Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We have been forbidden to let our eyes follow it."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
