Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13257

Sayyiduna Wahb bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Everything has two end parts and a middle part. When one of the two ends is held, the other end tilts; but if it is held by the middle part, both ends stay balanced. He said: "Hold to the middle part of things."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
