وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا تَنْزِلُوا الْكُفُورَ ، فَإِنَّهَا بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْقُبُورِ " . يَعْنِي الْقُرَى . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَامِعٍ الْعَطَّارُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not settle in the villages, for they are like graves." The narrator says: The word kufur means small villages.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Muhammad bin Jami' al-Attar, and he is da'if (weak).
