Majma al-Zawaid 13198 — Men who imitate women and women who imitate
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الْمُخَنَّثِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ ، وَالْمُتَرَجِّلَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ ثُوَيْرُ بْنُ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the men who imitate women and the women who imitate men.
Ahmad, al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Thuwayr bin Abi Fakhitah, and he is matruk (abandoned).
