Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1318

Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would eat tharid, drink milk, and pray without performing ablution again.
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded this report; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-A'la bin Amir, whom Imam Ahmad and Abu Hatim declared da'if (weak). Ibn Adi said: Trustworthy narrators have narrated hadith from him. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
