Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13169

Sufyan bin Abdullah al-Thaqafi reports from his father that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever presents himself as satisfied with something he has not been given is like one who wears two garments of falsehood."
This narration was recorded by Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and by Imam al-Bazzar. The narrators of Imam al-Bazzar are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Abu Ghassan Rawh bin Hatim; Abu Hatim al-Razi and Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
