وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : الْمُؤْمِنُ يَأْلَفُ ، وَلَا خَيْرَ فِيمَنْ لَا يُؤَالِفُ وَلَا يُؤْلَفُ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ الْمَسْعُودِيُّ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The believer is friendly, and there is no good in one who is neither friendly nor befriended."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains al-Mas'udi, in whom there is weakness. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
