Sayyiduna Sufyan bin Abdullah al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O Prophet of Allah! Tell me something from which I may benefit, and keep it brief so that I may understand it well." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not become angry." He repeated his question several times, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept saying: "Do not become angry."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Sulayman bin Abi Dawud, who is not known. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
