وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" تُنْسَخُ دَوَاوِينُ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فِي دَوَاوِينِ أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ فِي كُلِّ اثْنَيْنِ وَخَمِيسٍ ، فَيَغْفِرُ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا ، إِلَّا رَجُلٌ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ أَخِيهِ شَحْنَاءُ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِغَيْرِ هَذَا السِّيَاقِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The registers of the people of the earth (that is, the records of deeds) are copied into the registers of the people of the heavens; this happens every Monday and Thursday. Then Allah Almighty forgives every Muslim who does not associate anything with Allah, except for the person who has some resentment going on with a brother of his." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
