وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" إِذَا كَانَ لَيْلَةُ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ ، يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لِعِبَادِهِ ، إِلَّا لِمُشْرِكٍ أَوْ مُشَاحِنٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the night of the middle of Sha'ban comes (that is, Shab-e-Barat), Allah Almighty forgives (all) His servants except the polytheist and the one who holds enmity (or resentment)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Hisham bin Abd al-Rahman, whom I do not know. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
