وَعَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - :
" لَا تَجْمَعُوا بَيْنَ اسْمِي وَكُنْيَتِي " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ حَفْصَةُ بِنْتُ الْبَرَاءِ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهَا ، وَمَنِ اخْتَلَفَ فِي الِاحْتِجَاجِ بِهِ .

Sayyiduna Ubayd bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not combine my name and my kunyah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Hafsah bint al-Bara', a woman I do not know, and a narrator about whose use as evidence there is disagreement.
