وَعَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " دَبَّ إِلَيْكُمْ دَاءُ الْأُمَمِ قَبْلَكُمُ : الْبَغْضَاءُ وَالْحَسَدُ ، وَالْبَغْضَاءُ هِيَ الْحَالِقَةُ ، لَيْسَ حَالِقَةَ الشَّعْرِ ، وَلَكِنْ حَالِقَةَ الدِّينِ ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَا تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا ، وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى تَحَابُّوا ، أَلَا أُنْبِئُكُمْ بِمَا يُثْبِتُ لَكُمْ ذَلِكَ ؟ أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ بَيْنَكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَإِسْنَادُهُ جَيِّدٌ .

Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The disease of the nations before you will come among you as well: mutual hatred and envy. Hatred is the shaver; it does not shave hair, rather it shaves religion. By the One in whose hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not tell you of something that will establish that (mutual love) for you? Spread the greeting of peace (salam) among yourselves."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its chain is jayyid (good).
