Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12695

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: "Which of the people is best?" He said: "The one whose character is best."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains narrators who are among the narrators of the (six) books but who have not been declared trustworthy.
