وَعَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ رَفِيقٌ يُحِبُّ الرِّفْقَ وَيَرْضَاهُ ، وَيُعِينُ عَلَيْهِ مَا لَا يُعِينُ عَلَى الْعُنْفِ " . فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Khalid bin Ma'dan narrates from his father this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, Allah Almighty is Gentle. He loves gentleness and is pleased with it, and He helps through gentleness in a way that He does not help through harshness." After this the narrator mentioned the full hadith.
