وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ أَمْسَكَ بِرِكَابِ أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ لَا يَرْجُوهُ وَلَا يَخَافُهُ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمَازِنِيُّ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمَازِنِيُّ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever holds the stirrup of his Muslim brother, expecting nothing from him and fearing nothing from him (that is, he does it to seek the pleasure of Allah Almighty), Allah Almighty will forgive him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Hafs bin Umar al-Mazini, whom I do not know. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
