وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِذَا أَتَاكُمْ كَرِيمُ قَوْمٍ فَأَكْرِمُوهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الْكَبِيرِ عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ يَقْظَانَ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَكَذَلِكَ مَالِكُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ وَفِيهِمَا ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِ الْكَبِيرِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الْكَبِيرِ عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ يَقْظَانَ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَكَذَلِكَ مَالِكُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ وَفِيهِمَا ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِ الْكَبِيرِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When an honoured one of a people comes to you, honour him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. The chain in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir contains Uyaynah bin Yaqzan, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy); the case of Malik bin al-Hasan bin Malik bin al-Huwayrith is the same; there is weakness in both of these narrators. The remaining narrators of al-Mu'jam al-Kabir are thiqat (trustworthy).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir.
