كتاب الفتن - أعاذنا الله منها
Book of Tribulations (may Allah protect us from them)
بَابُ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ يَقُولُ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
The Hour will not be established upon anyone who says: There is no god but Allah

عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى لَا يُقَالَ فِي الْأَرْضِ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ " .
قُلْتُ : لَهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ : " حَتَّى لَا يُقَالَ فِي الْأَرْضِ : اللَّهُ اللَّهُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : لَهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ : " حَتَّى لَا يُقَالَ فِي الْأَرْضِ : اللَّهُ اللَّهُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until the situation is such that 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no god but Allah) is not said on the earth." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: in the Sahih there is, from him, the wording: "until saying 'Allah, Allah' comes to an end on the earth."
