وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَيَبِيتَنَّ قَوْمٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ عَلَى طَعَامٍ وَشَرَابٍ وَلَهْوٍ ، فَيُصْبِحُوا قَدْ مُسِخُوا قِرَدَةً وَخَنَازِيرَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ فَرَقَدُ السَّبَخِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some people of this Ummah will spend the night eating, drinking and in amusement, and in the morning they will have been transformed into apes and swine."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain contains Farqad al-Sabakhi, who is da'if (weak).
