وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " سَيَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ خَسْفٌ وَقَذْفٌ وَمَسْخٌ " . قِيلَ : وَمَتَى ذَلِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " إِذَا ظَهَرَتِ الْمَعَازِفُ وَالْقَيْنَاتُ ، وَاسْتُحِلَّتِ الْخَمْرُ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَى ابْنُ مَاجَهْ طَرَفًا مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِ إِحْدَى الطَّرِيقَيْنِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the last age there will be the punishment of sinking into the earth, being pelted with stones and transformation." It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! When will that be? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When musical instruments and singing girls appear (that is, become widespread), and wine is declared lawful." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Majah recorded the opening part of this report.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Abd al-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam, in whom there is weakness. The remaining narrators of one of its two routes are the narrators of the Sahih.
