Abu al-Waddak narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) asked me: "Do the Khawarij affirm (the coming of) the Dajjal?" I replied: "No." He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am the seal of a thousand prophets or more (this doubt is from the narrator). Every prophet who was sent and was followed warned his nation about the Dajjal. And something about him has been made clear to me that was not made clear to any other prophet: he (i.e. the Dajjal) will be one-eyed, and your Lord is not one-eyed. His right eye will be blind and protruding, and it will not be hidden; it will be like phlegm on a wall. His left eye will be like a shining star. With him will be every language (i.e. speakers of every language will be with him, or he will know every language). With him will be something in the form of Paradise, which will be green, with water flowing in it, and something in the form of Hell, which will be black, with smoke in it."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains Mujalid bin Sa'id, whom al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) declared thiqah (trustworthy) according to one report, and according to another report he said that he is not strong; a group declared him da'if (weak).
