عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنَ الْخَلَاءِ تَوَضَّأَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ شُعْبَةُ وَسُفْيَانُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ .

Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came back after relieving himself, he would perform ablution.
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Jabir al-Ju'fi, whom Shu'bah and Sufyan declared thiqah (trustworthy), while most people declared him da'if (weak).
