وَعَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " سَتَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ لَا يَهْدَأُ مِنْهَا جَانِبٌ إِلَّا جَاشَ مِنْهَا جَانِبٌ ، حَتَّى يُنَادِيَ مُنَادٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ : أَمِيرُكُمْ فُلَانٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُثَنَّى ابْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَضَعَّفَهُ أَيْضًا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُثَنَّى ابْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَضَعَّفَهُ أَيْضًا .
Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Soon there will be such a tribulation that whenever one side of it becomes calm, the other side will flare up, until a caller from the sky will announce: Your leader is so-and-so."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Muthanna bin al-Sabbah, who is matruk (abandoned); according to one report Yahya bin Ma'in declared him thiqah (trustworthy), and he also declared him da'if (weak).
