وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ سِنِينَ خَدَّاعَةً ، يُصَدَّقُ فِيهَا الْكَاذِبُ ، وَيُكَذَّبُ فِيهَا الصَّادِقُ ، وَيُؤْتَمَنُ فِيهَا الْخَائِنُ ، وَيُخَوَّنُ فِيهَا الْأَمِينُ ، وَيَنْطِقُ فِيهَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ " . قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَمَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ ؟ قَالَ : " الِامْرُؤُ التَّافِهُ يَتَكَلَّمُ فِي أَمْرِ الْعَامَّةِ " .
Sayyiduna Amr bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Before the Hour there will be some years of deception, in which the liar will be called truthful and the truthful will be called a liar, in which the treacherous will be made trustworthy and the trustworthy will be deemed treacherous, and in which the ruwaybidah will speak. It was asked: O Messenger of Allah, what is meant by the ruwaybidah? He said: A contemptible person who speaks about the affairs of the general public."
