بَابُ بَدَأَ الْإِسْلَامُ غَرِيبًا وَسَيَعُودُ غَرِيبًا .
Islam began as something strange and will return to being strange
Majma al-Zawaid 12198 — Islam began as something strange
وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تُرْوَى الْأَرْضُ دَمًا وَيَكُونُ الْإِسْلَامُ غَرِيبًا " ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَفِيهِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until the earth is drenched with blood and Islam becomes a stranger." After this the narrator mentioned the full hadith. Its chain contains Sulayman bin Ahmad al-Wasiti, who is da'if (weak).
