Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12195

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed Islam began as a stranger, and soon it will again become a stranger; so glad tidings to the strangers." After this the narrator mentioned the full hadith, which will also come later.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Layth bin Abi Sulaym, who is a mudallis.
