عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِذَا رَأَيْتَ أُمَّتِي تَهَابُ الظَّالِمَ أَنْ تَقُولَ لَهُ : أَنْتَ ظَالِمٌ فَقَدْ تُوُدِّعَ مِنْهُمْ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحَدِ إِسْنَادَيِ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَكَذَلِكَ رِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ وَقَعَ فِيهِ فِي الْأَصْلِ غَلَطٌ فَلِهَذَا لَمْ أَذْكُرْهُ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When you see my Ummah afraid to say to an oppressor, 'You are an oppressor,' then the time of their farewell will have come."
Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it with two chains; the narrators of one of al-Bazzar's two chains are the narrators of the Sahih, and so are Ahmad's narrators, except that an error occurred in his original text, so I have not mentioned it.
