عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ فِي أُمَّتِي قَوْمًا يُعْطَوْنَ مِثْلَ أُجُورِ أَوَّلِهِمْ يُنْكِرُونَ الْمُنْكَرَ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، سَمِعَ مِنْهُ الثَّوْرِيُّ فِي الصِّحَّةِ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Abd al-Rahman al-Hadrami narrates: Someone who heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told me that he said: "In my Ummah there will be people who will be given a reward like the reward of the first people of the Ummah; they will be the ones who denounce wrongdoing."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains Ata bin al-Sa'ib, from whom al-Thawri heard while he was still sound, and Abd al-Rahman bin al-Hadrami I do not know; the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
