Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 12059

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When people differ, the son of Sumayyah will be with the truth." The narrator says: By the son of Sumayyah is meant Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Dirar bin Surad, who is da'if (weak).
