Sayyidah Na'ilah bint al-Furafisah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates (she was the wife of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him)); she narrates: The Commander of the Faithful, Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), became drowsy and fell asleep. Then he woke up and said: The people will certainly kill me. I said: Never! If Allah wills, such a situation will not arise. They are your subjects who are protesting before you. Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) in a dream. They said to me: Tonight you are to break your fast with us."
Abdullah recorded it; its chain contains narrators whom I do not know.
