كتاب الفتن - أعاذنا الله منها
Book of Tribulations (may Allah protect us from them)
بَابٌ فِيمَا كَانَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَالسُّكُوتِ عَمَّا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ .
What occurred between the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and keeping silent about their disputes

وَعَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " سَيَكُونُ بَعْدِي فِتَنٌ يَكُونُ فِيهَا وَيَكُونُ " . فَقُلْنَا : إِنْ أَدْرَكْنَا ذَلِكَ هَلَكْنَا . قَالَ : " بِحَسْبِ أَصْحَابِي الْقَتْلُ "
Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon after me there will be trials, in which this will happen and that will happen." We said: "If we live to see that time, we will surely be destroyed?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Being killed is sufficient for my Companions."
