وَعَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " لَقَلْبُ ابْنِ آدَمَ أَسْرَعُ تَقَلُّبًا مِنَ الْقِدْرِ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَعَتْ غَلْيًا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحَدِهَا ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna al-Miqdad bin al-Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The heart of the son of Adam changes more swiftly than a cooking pot when it is at full boil (that is, about to boil over)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it with several chains, one of which has narrators who are thiqat (trustworthy).
