وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا هَلَكَتْ أُمَّةٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا بِالْأَنْوَاءِ ، وَمَا كَانَ بَدْءُ إِشْرَاكِهَا إِلَّا التَّكْذِيبَ بِالْقَدَرِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَا هَلَكَتْ أُمَّةٌ قَطُّ حَتَّى تُشْرِكَ بِاللَّهِ ، وَلَا أَشْرَكَتْ أُمَّةٌ بِاللَّهِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَوَّلُ شِرْكِهَا التَّكْذِيبَ بِالْقَدَرِ " .
وَفِيهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ النَّصْرِيُّ مَنْ بَنِي نَصْرٍ ، ضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَقَالَ : يُعْتَبَرُ بِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَا هَلَكَتْ أُمَّةٌ قَطُّ حَتَّى تُشْرِكَ بِاللَّهِ ، وَلَا أَشْرَكَتْ أُمَّةٌ بِاللَّهِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَوَّلُ شِرْكِهَا التَّكْذِيبَ بِالْقَدَرِ " .
وَفِيهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ النَّصْرِيُّ مَنْ بَنِي نَصْرٍ ، ضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَقَالَ : يُعْتَبَرُ بِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No nation was ever destroyed except because of believing in the stars, and the beginning of its falling into polytheism (shirk) was always through denying destiny (qadar)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; however, in it he recorded these words: "No nation was ever destroyed until it associated partners with Allah, and no nation ever associated partners with Allah until the beginning of its polytheism was the denial of destiny." Its chain contains a narrator, Umar bin Yazid al-Nasri, who was from Banu Nasr, whom Ibn Hibban declared da'if (weak); he says: "He may be considered (as supporting evidence)."
