Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11860

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "I fear three things for my Ummah: seeking rain by the stars, the injustice of the ruler (i.e. those in authority), and denying destiny (qadar)."
Ahmad, Abu Ya'la and al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in all three of his books; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Qasim al-Asadi, whom Yahya bin Ma'in declared thiqah (trustworthy), whom Ahmad called a liar, and whom the rest of the imams declared da'if (weak).
