Book of Divine Decree
بَابٌ فِيمَا سَبَقَ مِنَ اللَّهِ - سُبْحَانَهُ - فِي عِبَادِهِ وَبَيَانِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَهْلِ النَّارِ .
What Allah has decreed beforehand for His servants, and the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire

عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " خَلَقَ اللَّهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - آدَمَ حِينَ خَلَقَهُ فَضَرَبَ كَتِفَهُ الْيُمْنَى ، فَأَخْرَجَ ذُرِّيَّةً بَيْضَاءَ كَأَنَّهُمُ الذَّرُّ ، وَضَرَبَ كَتِفَهُ الْيُسْرَى فَأَخْرَجَ ذُرِّيَّةً سَوْدَاءَ كَأَنَّهُمُ الْحُمَمُ ، فَقَالَ لِلَّذِي فِي يَمِينِهِ : إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَلَا أُبَالِي ، وَقَالَ لِلَّذِي فِي كَفِّهِ الْيُسْرَى : إِلَى النَّارِ وَلَا أُبَالِي " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty created Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him), He struck his right shoulder and brought out his offspring, white in colour like tiny ants; then He struck his left shoulder and brought out his offspring, black in colour, who were like charcoal. Then Allah Almighty said about those on the right side: 'These will go to Paradise, and I do not care.' And about those who were in the left palm He said: 'These will go to Hell, and I do not care.'"
