وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ ، وَإِنَّ السَّمُومَ الَّتِي خُلِقَتْ مِنْهَا الْجِنُّ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ وَإِنَّ نَارَكُمْ هَذِهِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَلَهُ طُرُقٌ تَقَدَّمَتْ فِي الْمَشْيِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A good dream is one part of the seventy parts of prophethood; and the samum (scorching wind) from which the jinn were created is one part of the seventy parts of Hell; and this (worldly) fire of yours is a seventieth part of the fire of Hell.
Al-Tabarani recorded it from his teacher Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Sa'id bin Abi Maryam, who is da'if (weak). This report has various chains, which have passed earlier in the chapter on walking to the mosques and waiting for one prayer after another.
