عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ : كَانَتْ قِرَاءَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - الْمَدَّ لَيْسَ فِيهِ تَرْجِيعٌ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: The recitation of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had prolongation (madd), but there was no tarji' (trilling of the voice) in it.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
