Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11609

Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite: "wa al-nakhla basiqat" (and tall date palms), that is, with the letter "sad."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: This word is mentioned in the "Sahih" and in other books with the letter "sin" (that is, "wa al-nakhla basiqat").
Al-Bazzar recorded it from his teacher Ubaydullah bin Muhammad bin Subayh, and I do not know him; the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
